Today was an action packed and highly entertaining show on That Business Show with Jamie Meloni. At the top of the hour, I featured Heather Cannon, Founder of Country Girl Glitz. Heather is a fashion consultant that works with women to bring out the Country Girl in them and is a small town girl who grew up riding horses, hunting, fishing, showing steers and very active in 4H and FFA, Heather has always been a boots and jeans kinda gal! We spoke of her consulting business and how many women are country girls at heart and she helps bring out that side of them through her consulting business. Heather also is very involved in Rodeos and is a contributor to many Rodeo shows and speaks of many Rodeo topics on this show from Barrel Racing to bull riding and we share a great laugh over pig/calf roping as I learn a bit more about the history and what actually goes on at the Rodeos. On the 2nd segment of the show, I spoke with Kimberly Wilson with The Lutz Learning Center, a private school that specializes in non-traditional educational methods for children aged 2 through 8th grade. Kimberly is a 2nd generation family member and former student at this school which was founded by her Mother as an alternative to the public school system that they felt lacked the resources necessary to properly educate her children.
